I’ve been scrummaging around Dunnes Stores lately with my phone in hand to take a pic of some of the price tags on their goods here in the Republic. It seems that they have made two cock-ups. Firstly that they printed their labels back to front so they can’t tear off the sterling price and secondly that they treat their customers here like imbeciles incapable of doing basic arithmetic on the exchange rate. As I was watching Al Jazeera the other night some guy reminded me of something so obvious that I nearly dropped my Lebanese bread drizzled with Palestinian oil on my lap.
